Serena DeLeeuw - There simply aren’t enough kind words to write about this West Milford native. As enthusiastic as she is intelligent, Serena is a pleasure to be around. If you don’t recognize her smiling face already, you will soon!

It’s evident from the start that Serena plunges herself into work that she loves. Past work experience includes substitute teaching for West Milford Township; working as Teacher’s Assistant in New Beginnings (a school for children who are not neurotypical, working regularly with Autistic children); and working for the Association for Special Children and Families. She also has experience with personal care for those with Cerebral Palsy and Down’s Syndrome. Currently, Serena works as the Associate Director for the Department for Persons with Disabilties Group Home and as a Home Health Aide for Bayada Nurses.
Serena has a well-rounded educational background, complete with impressive credentials. She received her Associate’s Degree in Education, and her Bachelor’s with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Serena accomplished the Rutgers: School of Social Work’s Developmental Disabilities Certificate Program in late 2006. Serena also has been certified by the New Jersey Board of Nursing as a Home Health Aide. She has recently renewed her CPR certifications, has had certifications in Heimlich and First Aid, and a completed background check.
Serena does have her own availability and pricing schedule. Serena’s pricing and fees schedule is as such:
$15 for one hour;
$14 per hour for two hours;
$13 per hour for three hours;
$12 per hour for four or more hours.
This remains constant despite number of children.
For care that requires longer periods of travel, an inexpensive traveling fee may be added, and confirmed with Clients prior to care services. Serena's base is the Butler area.
Serena provides her own reliable means of transportation, and is willing to provide Backup Child Care, Mother’s Helper Care, Short Transport, and Errands.
